TRICK-OR-TREAT

This was the first year that Isaac got to go trick-or-treating with Aiden and their friends, Jayden and Jaxon. The two boys went as Power Rangers and they had a blast, Isaac was the best though! Every house he said "do-do-dreet" and when the person at the door tried to give candy he held out his hand. He was not letting anyone put the candy in his bag, we think Isaac thought that if they put on in they wold take two out, and he was not going to let that happen.

Wolf Pack

Today Matt took the boys to a "Meet and Greet" for the Nevada Wolf Pack Men's Basketball Team. Aiden and Isaac have both started going to the basketball games by the time they were two weeks old, so they love to be around these guys. Aiden was so excited to get Autographs of most of the players! Nick Fazekas will be going to the NBA next year. Brandon Fields is new to the team this year. Lyndale Burleson is a returning guard, and has a brother in the NFL and another in the NBA. David Ellis stands 7'2" and had a hard time seeing all of the little guys running around.

Halloween Party

I have come to the conclusion early that in order to have peace in our home, then Aiden and Isaac need to have the same or similar things. For Halloween this year, since Aiden is a HUGE Power Ranger Fan, Aiden and Isaac are going to be the Red and Green Rangers. They had a blast at our play group Halloween party! They got to stick the spider on the web, make witch's brew, color, and decorate cookies! How Fun! We are a little short in the girl department in our play group!

The Lewis'

We sure do miss our friends, Steve and Rachel Lewis! They decided to move back to Denver where Steve is from. We were so excited to have them come and play with us a day at "The Balls" when they were in Nevada. Aiden and Coralee have been friends since they have been born, literally. Aiden is only 3 days older than Coralee. And Landon is 3 months older than Isaac, so they are able to be buddies, too. We can't wait until we see them again!

Hey Batter Batter Batter!

If you thought that Aiden was a sport maniac, you should see Isaac. They will always have a buddy to play ball with. A play group was started in our ward, and at the park one day we decide to take the bats, balls, and mitts. They had a blast!

Apple Hill

On the first weekend of October we drove to Apple Hill. It is just outside of Placerville, CA. We didn't realize how long it would take us to get there, so by the time we got there, we only had about 45 minutes to see things. The main thing that we got to do there is look at the animals at a petting zoo. The kids loved it, and it gave them something fun to do before they had to get in the car for the 2 1/2 hour drive back to Sparks! Aiden is 3/2 and Isaac is 19 months old in the pictures.

Aiden's New Bike!

Was it bribery or good behavior? Aiden has wanted a bike so bad, so Matt and I decided that if Aiden could earn 10 stickers for doing good things, he could get a bike. Matt made a chart, and so for every good deed he did, he got to put on a sticker. It was fun to see him share more, and to help clean up his toys. After a few weeks, Aiden finally got all 10 stickers! What a fun day to pick out his bike. He even got a Power Rangers helmet, knee, and elbow pads. Isaac has been having fun pushing his "new" bike around. Isaac likes to do it all on his own. He doesn't like to be pushed around on his bike...yet! Isaac's helmet is a little too big right now!

Mahalo!

More pics of our trip to Hawai'i.

Hawai'i 2006

Aloha!

In June Matt and Mariann(without the kids!) had a chance to join Mariann's family in Hawai'i for a week. We had a great time from seeing the USS Arizona Memorial and Pearl Harbor, hiking to the top of Diamond Head, visiting the Polynesian Culture Center (Seeing the Fire Dancers and Tree Climbers), snorkeling and learning how to surf! We even saw a Sea Turtle! We had such a great time that we are trying to figure out how to get back to Hawai'i!

Disney Cruise

Here are a few cool pictures of the ship (Donald is hanging off the front). Aiden also had a big graduation celebration on the last day from the Kids Club.

Disney Cruise

On May 21st to the 25th we went on the Disney Cruise. It was the Highlight of the trip. The boys loved seeing all of the characters and being able to go to the beach and swim. They had a "party" every night it seemed, and at the "Pirates in the Caribbean" party they even shot off fireworks!

Disney World

Here are a few pictures of Disney World. We left on May 14th and stayed at Disney World until the 21st when we got on the cruise. We had so much fun with Aiden and Isaac. It was so great to see them have so much fun! Aiden's favorites were the Power Rangers (we had to see them twice!). We got Aiden to go on all of the rides that he could go on (he is only 42 "). We told him that if he would keep his eyes open and scream, it wouldn't be so scary. Once he did that, he had a blast! Isaac loved everything! They both loved being in the water whether is was in the pool or in the areas that the water would spray on the kids!

Whose Kids Are These?!?

Matt and I discovered something strange about our kids tonight. I made caramel apples, and we gave Aiden and Isaac each one, and THEY DIDN'T WANT IT!!! Aiden and Isaac will eat anything that has sugar in it, so what a shocker it was that they wouldn't eat the caramel apple. But the craziest part?!? Once Matt and I ate the caramel off of the apple, they inhaled the apple down! So, when we do caramel apples again, only 2 will do...Matt and I will eat the good part (the caramel) and the boys can eat the healthy part!
