Ummmmm.....Dirt!

It is nearly impossible to keep Ethan out of things he shouldn't be in! Matt and I were outside building a little retaining wall, and Ethan decided to take a little...ok....a big taste of dirt! I little dirt don't hurt! YUK!

Memorial Weekend Fun--SIX FLAGS!!!

It rained and rained and rained in the days before Memorial Weekend, and I was ready for sunshine...or at least no rain! We had my nephew Tyler out for a week, so we decided to have fun in Vallejo...What a great time we had at Thomas Town, and all of the play structures! Matt and Tyler had a blast on some of the rollercoasters. FYI...I thought I remembered that the crepes were good there...I thought WRONG!

Basketball

Aiden has been going down now that last couple of saturdays and taking part in a basketball academy that is ran by Matt's good friend Ethan O'Bryant. Ethan played at Nevada and was a Harlem Globetrotter for a few years. Aidenis getting the hang of dribbling and passing, just like his dad the defensive side needs a little work. Aiden is having a great time and Isaac is wondering when he will be old enough to start playing basketball.

On Friday January 4th we recieved quite a nice snow storm, the three day total was about 14 total inches that fell at the house. This meant that we finally had enough snow to go sledding down the hill in our backyard!!! Mariann was stoked!!!

Merry Christmas

Christmas was great this year, we held the Looney(Matt's mom's maiden name) Christmas Eve dinner at our house this year. Matt's brother dressed up as Santa Clause and made a special visit on his rounds to the Turley house. Aiden and Isaac got a great kick out of it. Aiden asked us the entire month of December if it was Christmas morning, and then didn't think it was Christmas, because it hadn't snowed. Christmas was also special this year because it was Ethan's first Christmas.

When I took Ethan in for his 4 month appointment, he weighed in at 18 pounds! EIGHTEEN!!! He is such a big boy! He is 27 1/4" long... I think he is my biggest baby at this age! He is nearly out of his 6 month clothes. He is mostly wearing 9-12 month clothes!

Happy Thanksgiving! We celebrated with our friends, the Kahumoku's. They have 3 boys, too, and they are all within a few months of each other!
